Fluent Systems” is a database system, installed on your existing computer system. You or your agent can use the “Fluent Systems” database program to manage/report multiple RRE’s information.

Fluent Systems” personnel will work with your “IT” Department to identify the CMS required fields, as specified in their User Guide Version 1.0 dated March 16, 2009. Once the fields are identified, they can then be integrated into the “Fluent Systems” program. Future and existing CMS programs can be added as modules, sharing the common database.

Online Mandatory Reporting System

“Fluent Systems” is a unique, data base system designed specifically to meet the needs for MMSEA SECTION 111 Medicare Secondary Payer Mandatory Reporting. The system design is based on the CMS and COB “User Guide”, Version 1.0 posted March 16, 2009, on the CMS website. Additional CMS updates have also been included in the program.

 

What is the process and requirements?
  • Make computer programming adjustments, based on CMS guidelines

  • You first need to register with CMS as an RRE (Responsible Reporting Entity).

  • Make an initial report of all claims, Liability, Self Insured, No-Fault, Workers’ Comp and Group Health Plans

  • Report Quarterly on those claimants identified as Medicare Beneficiaries, with updates

  • Report all Settlements, Judgments, and Awards for Medicare Beneficiaries
